The White House says that an upcoming South Korea-U.S. summit will discuss North Korea’s threats, bilateral economic cooperation and Washington’s overall strategy of engagement with Asia.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney made the remark during a news briefing in Washington on Monday after being asked whether the summit will produce a new strategy regarding Pyongyang.

Carney also said that U.S. President Barack Obama "looks very much forward to meeting" Park, adding that the two leaders will discuss a full range of topics.
