Syrian government forces and antigovernment rebels are blasting Israel in unison for launching an air strike on a military facility in Syria.

The Syrian government accused Israel of further threatening peace in the Middle East, calling the attack a clear violation of international law.

Syria’s antigovernment rebels denounced Israel for carrying out the strike and hampering their efforts to oust President Bashar al-Assad and his regime.

The Arab League, Saudi Arabia and Egypt also criticized Israel’s strike against Syria, calling on the UN Security Council to take action.
