Microsoft is making improvements to its operating system “Windows 8” following users' complaints and confusion.

CNN Money reported on its online edition that the U.S. IT giant is working to fix some of the “glaring” problems with the operating system, acknowledging that early complaints about Windows 8 are legitimate.

However, the software giant said despite some of the troubling issues, it's pleased with the performance of Windows 8.

Microsoft has sold 100 million Windows 8 licenses since its debut in late October 2012.
