The International Labor Organization is predicting that the global youth unemployment rate will reach 12-point-eight percent by 2018.

The UN labor agency made the prediction in its Global Employment Trends for Youth 2013 report.

The global unemployment rate among young people between the ages of 15 and 24 rose from 12-point-three percent in 2011 to 12-point-four percent last year.

This year the rate is expected to increase to 12-point-six percent globally.
