DC Police Probe Sexual Assault Allegations Against Pres. Spokesman

Washington D.C. police are investigating allegations that presidential spokesman Yoon Chang-jung sexually assaulted a young woman earlier this week.

Washington police spokeswoman Gwendolyn Crump told reporters Thursday that the police are probing the report of a Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse. Crump denied to go into further detail.

Allegations against Yoon rose after a post emerged on an online community for Korean American women, Missy USA, that Yoon sexually assaulted an embassy intern while accompanying Park on her trip to Washington.

The victim reportedly is a Korean American who was hired for an event organized for Park’s visit.
