South Korean singer PSY delivered a lecture at the Memorial Church of Harvard University on Thursday night, local time.

The singer began addressing a thousand of students and fans by cracking jokes about his academic performance at Boston University. He said that his presence at the Ivy League school "is so weird."

PSY’s lecture focused on his passion for music and the success of his previous global hit, “Gangnam Style.” He said that he has done his best for 13 years as a musician.

The singer said that he was surprised and pleased to see people around the world enjoying his songs and performances, although they don't understand Korean. He added that it is the power of music that bonds people together beyond languages.
