S. Korean Sprinter Wins Gold at IPC Athletics World Championships

South Korea’s Jun Min-jae has won a gold medal at the women’s 200 meter T36 finals at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics World Championships.
 
Jun finished with a time of 30-point-96 seconds at the games in Lyon, France on Tuesday.
 
She will compete for another medal in the women’s 100 meter finals on Saturday.
 
Jun won silver in the 100 meter and 200 meter T36 sprints during last year’s London Paralympics.
 
On Monday, South Korea's Kim Gyu-dae won the nation's first gold medal from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics World Championships.
 
He finished first in the men’s T54 wheelchair 800 meter with a time of one minute 37 seconds 55.
