The films that will be shown at the 9th Women’s Film Festival in Seoul were announced on February 13th. Out of 251 entries from 15 different countries, 12 local and 5 foreign films were selected.

This has been a difficult and unstable year for local female film-makers, but they have supported each other and made remarkable films, especially about the present-day and friendship. Foreign female directors have produced exceptional documentaries on today’s society, history and keen introspection.
