The 12 billion won drama “Shikgaek/ Gourmet” will soon begin production.

JS Pictures will hold an opening ceremony on August 2nd at Kangwon Land in Kangwon Province, where a drama set is to be constructed.

Set construction is completed in November and it will later be turned into a tourist attraction.

The drama’s star Kim Rae-won, director Choi Jong-soo and screen-writers Choi Wan-kyu and Park Hoo-jung are set to attend the opening ceremony, where they will formally announce the beginning of production.

“Gourmet” is based on the comic book by top cartoonist Huh Young-man. Filming will begin on September 10th and is set to begin broadcasting in the first half of 2008.
