“D-War,” based on a Korean legend and directed by Shim Hyeong-rae, will open in the US on September 14th. It is predicted that the film’s US release will propel its worldwide release.
Currently, “D-War,” which opens locally on August 1st, is only set to be released in Korea, the US and Japan. However, the movie’s distribution company said that they plan to release the movie in other countries after seeing the US market response.
“D-War” will be shown on more than 1700 screens all across the US and about 500 screens in Japan. The film, starring Jason Behr and Amanda Brooks, is one of the most highly-anticipated movies of the year.
