Park Seung-Hwa from the male group Yurisangja was injured in a motorcycle accident early this morning.

Park was on his way home after a recording session at around 5 in the morning in the Dongdaemun area in Seoul when a car ran into the singer’s motorcycle. The car was reported to have run through a red light at an intersection.

The singer was taken to a local hospital and will undergo surgery to treat a fracture to his left leg. Fortunately, Park was wearing a helmet at the time of collision and suffered no injuries to his head.

A new album to coincide with Yurisangja’s 10th anniversary was set for late September/early October, but will have to be postponed due to Park’s condition. Park is expected to undergo treatment for the next few months.
