Leading man of popular drama “Coffee Prince” Gong Yoo has been called to fulfill his mandatory military service.

According to the Military Manpower Association, the actor looks to begin his mandatory 2-year service in October. He will undergo 6 weeks of boot camp before going into active service in Uijeongbu, north of Seoul.

Gong Yoo has announced that he will enter the military once he finishes “Coffee Prince”.
A representative from his agency reported that the actor had not yet received a writ of enlistment from the MMA, but would make a decision in the near future.
