Late actress Kim Young-ae received a posthumous award for her contributions to the promotion of the broadcasting industry.

For the 90th anniversary of Korean broadcasting, the Korean Communications Commission and the Korean Broadcasters Association prepared the award for Kim. She was also given a third rank order of merit for her work of 15+ years.

Kim debuted in 1971. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 2012 and passed away in April of this year.
