'Love in the Moonlight' wins two prizes at Seoul Int'l Drama Awards
The fusion historical drama "Love in the Moonlight" has received two awards from this year's Seoul International Drama Awards.

The popular drama which aired from August through October 2016 won for Best Drama while lead actor Park Bo-gum won in the Best Actor in Hallyu or the Korean Wave category. Best Actress in Hallyu went to Park Bo-young of "Strong Woman Do Bong-soon."

The Best Program Award went to "This is Us," an American TV series on NBC created by Dan Fogelman while German drama "Redemption Road" won in the Best TV Movie category.

The Best Miniseries award went to Belgian drama "Please Love Me." Turkish actor Kerem Bursin of "Heart of the City" won Best Actor while Russian actress Aleksandra Nikiforova, starring in "Detective Anna," won Best Actress.

The awards ceremony took place at KBS Hall in Yeoido on September 7.
