K-pop boy band BTS is hoping to enter the US music ranking chart, Billboard Hot 100, with its latest release.

The boy band’s newest album, “Love Yourself: Her,” has been released September 18 at 6 p.m. KST. The album is the first of the band's new "Love Yourself" series, which will be rolled out in sequence into next year.

In May, BTS won the Top Social Artist award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, beating popular artists such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande to become the second South Korean artist to win a Billboard award after Psy in 2013. However, the team has yet to make an entry on the benchmark Billboard Hot 100 chart.
