‘Forgotten’ draws 1 million viewers
The mystery thriller “Forgotten,” starring Kang Ha-neul and Kim Moo-yeol has drawn over 1 million viewers in the 12 days since its release.

The film revolves around the two stars who play brothers who are suspicious of each other after Kim Moo-yeol’s character loses his memory after an abduction.

The film drew over 122,000 viewers on Saturday, making the total number of filmgoers reach 988,000 and finally broke the 1 million mark on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, Korea marked the fifth consecutive year to have over 200 million people attend movie theaters on Saturday. With more highly anticipated Korean films set to be released before the year-end, the Korea Film Council is expecting a stronger rally before the year ends.
