Girl group missA disbands
The K-pop girl group missA has disbanded after seven years.

The group’s label JYP Entertainment announced that the four-member group decided to go separate ways after seven years together.

According to the management agency, only two of missA's four members -- Fei and Suzy -- have renewed their contracts with the agency. Fei is said to be pursuing a solo career while Suzy has established a career as an actress.

Debuting in July 2010 with "Bad Girl Good Girl," the team composed of two Korean and two Chinese members became one of the most popular K-pop groups.

The latest disbandment follows a series of breakups among K-pop girl groups including 4Minute, 2NE1 and Kara last year and Sistar and Wonder Girls earlier this year.
