The Korean Public Music Awards conference committee announced on January 18th this year's nominees.

Idols made up the majority in terms of the nominations for "Best Dance & Electronic Song": 2NE1's "I'm The Best", f(x)'s "Pinocchio", Infinite's "Be Mine", and T-ara's "Roly Poly". both 2NE1 and f(x) were nominated for the same category last year as well.

For the "Best Rap & Hip Hop" category, GD&TOP were nominated along with f(x). IU's "Good Day" is up for three awards: "Best Pop Song", "Best Album", and "Song of the Year".

The 9th annual Korean Public Music Awards will be held at AX-Korea on February 29th.
