At the 26th annual Japan Golden Disc Awards, the group took home 5 awards: Best Asian Artist, Best 3 Albums, Year's Download Song, Best 5 Downloads, Best Music Video.
This year's Golden Disc Awards took a look at all the sold albums from November 2010 to October 2011. The winners were selected based on sales and judges' ratings.
Girls Generation also fared well, with awards for Year's Album, Best 3 Albums. Meanwhile, 2PM won Year's Newbie and Best 3 Newbies. TVXQ also won Best 3 albums, while Jang Geun-seok and BEAST won Best 3 Newbies.
