Girls Generation has entered into the US Billboard Chart rankings.


The group's special album "The Boys" released in the US and Europe this past January 17th, placed 2nd on the Billboard World Album charts for the week of February 4th. This was along with the girls placing 22nd on the Hitseekers Album chart, which focuses on albums released by new up and rising acts.


"The Boys" was written and arranged by producer Teddy Riley, who's world-renowned and also has worked with the great late Michael Jackson.


Girls Generation will be busy hoping to raise those rankings even further, by promoting in the US through appearances on the David Letterman Show and Live! With Kelly, on January 31st and February 1st respectively.
