KEEP: Korea Exposure and Education Program

2010-08-27

My guests this week are Sarah Ahn, Mark Ro Beyersdorf and Andy Marra. These three Korean Americans are in Seoul as part of the KEEP summer program. KEEP is the Korea Exposure and Education Program, and since 1994, its mission has been to strengthen the global movement for peace and justice in Korea and the United States. Its two-week summer program is designed to inspire a new generation of overseas Koreans to link struggles here in Korea with community work back in the United States.

In our interview, we discuss the summer program, human rights work in Korea and in the United States, and what role people of the Korean diaspora should play in reunifying the Korean Peninsula.
