Team Korea won seven gold, six silver and two bronze medals on Friday, the seventh day of the Asian Games in Indonesia.

In men's fencing, South Korea beat Hong Kong in team foil to win gold in this event for the first time since 1994.

In the swimming arena, Kim Seo-yeong was crowned queen in the women's 200-meter individual medley with an Asian Games record of two minutes eight-point-34 seconds.

This also marked Korea's first swimming gold at the Asian Games in eight years.

In the bowling alley, the women's team delivered gold in the Team of Six event after defeating Malaysia. 

Medals in rowing and cycling also added to the tally on Friday, with South Korea maintaining its spot at third in the overall medal ranking.
