Airlines to Service Incheon-Shizuoka Route

The national flag carriers, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, will operate flights to Shizuoka, Japan, beginning next year.

In a news conference in Shizuoka, Japan, Korean Air told reporters that it will begin daily flights from Incheon International Airport to Mount Fuji Shizuoka Airport in time for the airport’s opening in June.

Korean Air’s 149-passenger plane will leave Incheon at 9:20 a.m. and arrive in Shizuoka at 11:20 a.m. The return flight will leave for Incheon at 12:20 p.m. and arrive at 2:35 p.m.

Asiana Airlines also decided to begin servicing the Incheon-Shizuoka route in June.
