The Los Angeles Times has highlighted Fullerton city in California's Orange County as a prime residential area for middle-class Koreans.

Fullerton is considered an emerging residential area with a strong job market, low crime rates and strong public schools. It was also here where Korean American Virginia Han failed in her bid to become a city councilor in the November municipal election.

The report cited a big jump in the Asian population in the middle-class residential section of Fullerton, which it said was once mainly inhabited by Caucasians.
