'More Koreans to Visit Australia on Work Visas'

An Australian agency expects more Koreans will visit Australia on “working holiday” programs in the future.

The country’s tourism agency expects an annual 235-thousand Koreans to enter Australia on working holiday visas by 2017, up a whopping 50-point-six percent from 156-thousand this year.

It predicted that only two-thousand more Koreans will head to Australia as part of the program in 2009 due to the global economic slump.

Working holiday programs grant special one-year visas to young foreigners looking to work in countries with insufficient labor forces.
