Reuters : NK Plans to Launch Satellite

Reuters news agency says North Korea’s plans to launch a satellite this weekend appear to be legitimate.

U.S. officials told the news agency that a commercial satellite image of the Musudan-ri missile test site showed a Daepodong Two missile with a bulb-shaped payload cover, consistent with a satellite payload, rather than a warhead.

Officials and analysts at the U.S. Air Force's National Air and Space Intelligence Center also said that the bulb is similar to the nose cone standard for military and commercial satellite launches used by the U.S., Russia and China.
