The G20 financial summit will open on Thursday in London.

The leaders of the Group of 20 will discuss ways to overcome the global economic crisis and adopt an agreement outlining measures on ways to recover from the recession and strengthen the financial system.

In particular, attention will be focused on whether the nations will be able to reach an agreement on the boosting of their fiscal spending to help support the economy.

They will also reaffirm their stance against trade protectionism and whether or not to reveal the list of countries that have implemented such policies.
