US Senate Adopts Resolution Condemning NK Shelling

The U.S. Senate has unanimously adopted a resolution condemning North Korea for its firing of artillery shells on South Korea’s Yeonpyeong Island on November 23rd.

The resolution denounced North Korea for having jeopardized peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

In the resolution, the Senate urged China to join other countries in condemning the North Korean provocation and to influence the North to put an end to its nuclear activities.
