Japan’s Kyodo News says North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will hold summit talks on Tuesday.

The report quoted an official of Russia’s presidential office as saying that Kim and Medvedev are expected to hold their summit on Tuesday at the eastern Siberian city of Ulan-Ude.

However, Russian media, including business daily Vedomosti, said the summit between the North Korean and Russian leaders will open on Wednesday.
