Libyan Rebels Advance on Tripoli, South Korean Residents Unharmed

Libya's rebel forces advanced into Tripoli and two of Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi's sons have been detained.

Reuters said the rebels moved into the capital city Sunday and have claimed they occupy all territory except for Gadhafi's main compound of Bab al-Aziziya.

The South Korean Foreign Ministry says the 14 South Koreans residing in Tripoli and five in Benghazi have all confirmed to be safe.

The ministry said it is continuously confirming the safety of the South Koreans via phone with the South Korean Embassy in Libya, which has temporarily relocated to Tunisia.

South Korea has maintained a travel ban for the North African country.
