US NGO to Send $900,000 Worth of Relief Supplies to NK

Voice of America says an international Christian relief and evangelism organization will provide 900-thousand dollars in relief supplies for North Korean flood victims.

The report said the U.S.-based Samaritan’s Purse will relief of blankets, tent materials and sanitation supplies to the North’s Gangwon and Hwanghae provinces. The organization plans to send a group of employees to monitor the distribution of the supplies.

With the recent aid, the total amount of relief supplies provided by U.S. nongovernmental organizations to the North for this year has risen to one-point-eight million dollars.
