Gov’t to Discuss Aid With Rebel Org. in Libya

South Korean government officials plan to meet with officials of Libya’s interim organization representing rebels to discuss providing some one-million dollars in aid.

A Foreign Ministry official said that three South Korean officials from the nation’s embassy in Libya will meet in Benghazi on Saturday with the Transitional National Council (TNC). The officials have been in Tunisia where they were evacuated at the outset of violence in Libya.

The South Korean government had announced earlier its official recognition of the TNC and its intention to provide aid worth of one-million dollars.
