Peru Police Find Car Used by Kidnappers of Korean Student

Police investigating the kidnapping a Korean high school student in Lima, Peru have found the car used in the abduction.

According to local news outlets, local police found the car on the outskirts of Lima Friday. The 18-year-old boy identified by his surname “Kim” was kidnapped on his way to school four days ago.

Investigators are looking into articles that were left inside the car. Most of the boy’s personal belongings, including his notebook computer and iPhone, were still in the vehicle.

Peruvian media said that the kidnappers have demanded 500 million Peruvian sol or roughly one-point-nine billion won for Kim’s return. The police said that it is difficult to conclude whether he is safe or not.
