Obama: NK Must Abide by Int'l Rules or Face More Pressure

U.S. President Barack Obama says North Korea will face "greater pressure and isolation" if it continues to break international rules.

During his speech at the U.N. General Assembly in New York on Wednesday, Obama said "North Korea has yet to take concrete steps towards abandoning its weapons, and continues belligerent action against the South.”

He said that if the North observes international rules and regulations, its people will have a future with greater opportunities but if it continues “down a path that is outside international law,” the North will have to face more pressure and isolation. Obama said further pressure and isolation is what the U.S.’s commitment to peace and security demands.
