Presidents of Korean companies in China have recently visited North Korea’s Rajin-Seonbong special economic zone to seek investment opportunities.

The 16-member delegation led by Pyo Seong-ryong visited the zone on September 17th and received detailed information on the progress in the project to develop the zone and tax benefits for foreign investors.

During the three-day trip, the delegation also inspected local manufacturers, hotels and markets and discussed with North Korean officials on constructing an industrial complex in the zone.

Some of the businessmen plan to visit the zone again late this month to continue discussion on their potential investment.
