'US-NK High-level Talks to Open in Geneva Monday'

Japan’s Kyodo News says the United States and North Korea will hold their second round of high-level talks in Geneva on Monday and Tuesday next week.

The news agency reported Wednesday that U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Stephen Bosworth will represent the U.S. and the North’s First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye-kwan will represent the North. The two officials previously led their countries' delegations to the first round of high-level talks at the end of July in New York.

A source said that the upcoming talks are expected to be held for two days, but the length of the meeting could be shortened or extended depending on how the dialogue proceeds.

The North’s uranium enrichment program is expected to top the discussions.
