Opening Ceremony Held at Job Training Center in Afghanistan

An opening ceremony for a job training center was held on Sunday at South Korea's Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) office at the Charikar base in Afghanistan.

The job training center is one of the three key facilities that South Korea is building at the Charikar PRT base. It will provide training in five fields to the local people including computer use and aesthetics.

As far as other construction work in the area, a police training center has already been completed. Currently, one-hundred-50 Parwan Province police officers are in training there. Construction of the third facility, a hospital, will be completed early next year.
