Pyongyang Bans North Koreans in Libya From Returning to NK

North Korea has banned its nationals residing in Libya from returning home in an apparent bid to stop the impact of democratic movements in the Middle East and North Africa from spreading to North Korea.

A source in Libya said Wednesday that North Korean authorities instructed some 200 North Koreans living in Libya not to return home, and they are being neglected without further instructions in the war-torn country.

The North reportedly took similar measures for North Koreans residing in Egypt.
