President Lee Myung-bak Meets With Chinese Vice Premier

President Lee Myung-bak has met with Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang at the presidential office.

The two exchanged opinions on the development of a bilateral strategic partnership and on the North Korean nuclear program, among other bilateral issues.

Lee expressed his welcome for the Chinese vice premier's courtesy visit. Li responded by saying the purpose of his visit is to discuss in-depth current affairs regarding both nations.

President Lee and the vice premier also renewed an agreement between their nations' central banks to double the scale of their currency swap from 180-billion to 360-billion yuan.
