US, European Stocks Plunge Tuesday

U.S. and European stocks plunged on Tuesday as concerns mounted over a planned referendum by Greece’s government on its latest bailout package.

At the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones Industrial Average slid around 297 points from Monday to close at eleven-thousand-657-point-96.

The S&P 500 index shed around 35 points to stand at one-thousand-218-point-28 while the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite index fell 77-point-45 points to two-thousand-606-point-96.

Stocks prices in Paris slipped around five-point-four percent while prices in Germany fell five percent and in London two-point-two percent.
