Japanese police are reportedly investigating a Japanese semiconductor chip seller on suspicions of illegal exporting.
Police raided the company to obtain evidence.

According to Kyodo News and other Japanese news outlets, the company exported to China 500 semiconductor devices loaded with automatic control programs without government permission. Automatic control programs are essential in manufacturing semiconductor chips.
