South Korean airline company Asiana Airlines has been named the 2011 Airline of the Year by the international magazine “Global Traveler.”

The magazine said that Asiana Airlines is continually recognized for delivering an excellent service to passengers.

Fellow South Korean airline Korean Air was also named the best airline in Northeast Asia.

Global Traveler selected winners in 68 categories based on a survey of its 20-thousand subscribers.
