The International Monetary Fund says that it might lower its global economic growth outlook next year.

IMF spokesman Gerry Rice said in a news briefing on Thursday, local time, that in order to reflect a slowdown in economic activities, European financial turmoil and growing economic uncertainties these days, his agency will likely revise its global economic outlook downward through the end of January.
