More than a dozen elementary students have died from another school bus accident in China.

A school bus carrying 29 elementary students careened off a country road into an irrigation ditch outside the city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province Monday evening. The accident killed 15 students and injured eleven.

The bus had apparently swerved to avoid a crash with a pedicab. The bus was apparently not overloaded and had the capacity to carry 52 people.

The incident follows an accident last month in which 21 people were killed when a nine-seat private school bus crammed with 64 people crashed with a truck in Gansu Province.
