5 Dead, 120 Injured from Shooting Rampage in Belgium

At least five people are dead and over 120 injured after a man threw grenades and shot at a crowd in Belgium’s southeastern city of Liege on Tuesday, local time.

Local media quoted witnesses as saying that at around 12:30 p.m. a 33-year-old man threw three grenades and began shooting at a Saint Lambert Square bus stop in Liege.

Among those killed were a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and 75-year-old man. The shooter was found dead a few blocks away from the site of the shooting from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Also on Tuesday, three people died and three were wounded in Florence, Italy after an Italian man shot at street sellers from Senegal in an apparent racially charged shooting spree before committing suicide.
