Incheon Airport Mulls Bid for Edinburgh Airport

Bloomberg news agency reports Incheon International Airport Corporation is considering a bid for Edinburgh Airport in Scotland.

Bloomberg quoted Incheon Airport head Lee Chae-Wook saying the South Korean airport doesn’t just want to invest but is more interested in operating the Scottish airport.

Incheon Airport may form a consortium with other South Korean institutions to put up a bid.

BAA Airports is selling Edinburgh, the busiest airport in Scotland, to meet antitrust requirements. Market insiders predict that the deal will fetch 600 million pounds.
