Romney Wins New Hampshire Primary

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has won the New Hampshire primary on the tails of his victory in the Iowa caucus last week.

The former Massachusetts Governor garnered nearly 40 percent of the vote, while Texas Representative Ron Paul finished in second with support in the mid-20s.

Former Utah Governor John Huntsman, who spent more time in New Hampshire than any other candidate leading up the primary, finished in third with a vote percentage in the high teens.

Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, who finished second in the Iowa caucus, came in fifth in New Hampshire with roughly nine percent of the vote.
