The loving and sacrificing spirit of late priest Lee Tae-seok is well alive in Sudan some two years after his death.

As the stories of the late South Korean priest touch the hearts of many in South Korea, a small charity movement has been launched in Tongyoung, South Gyeongsang Province.

Citizens are gathering pens, notebooks and other stationery items from their desks to send them to Sudanese children.

More than one-thousand-700 items have been collected so far. Due to the overwhelming support for the movement, the charity is expected to become an annual event.
