S.Korea-U.S.-Japan Foreign Ministers to Hold Talks

South Korea, the U.S. and Japan have agreed to hold a trilateral foreign ministerial meeting to discuss matters pertaining to the Korean Peninsula.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Cho Byung-jae said that during the third high-level trilateral meeting held in Washington, the three countries had constructive discussions regarding North Korea’s nuclear weapon and other regional issues.

The spokesman added that during the recent talks, the three nations agreed that Pyeongyang can improve its relations with the international society by resuming talks with the three countries.

As the host nation of the next talks, South Korea will arrange the schedule and location for the next trilateral foreign ministerial meeting.
