Coal Transported through Rajin Port to Southern China

The expansion of a road connecting North Korea’s Won-jong-ri and China’s Rajin port for coal transportation has been completed after five months.

Hunchun Chuangri Shipping & Logistics is said to have transported seven-thousand tons of coal through Won-jong-ri to Rajin port last week, which will be shipped to Shanghai.

This is the sixth time Hunchun-produced coal was transported through the Rajin port to southern China.

The expanded road is expected to pave the way for more raw materials to be shipped into southern China.
